Karura Case
Sentinel Classical Guitar Case

Karura's cases for classical guitar will fit most standard classical and resophonic (Dobro®-style) guitars. Karura builds guitar flight cases which offer unequaled protection at the lowest possible weight. The shell is constructed from aerospace quality carbon fiber, utilizing processes similar to those employed by the yachting and aeronautical industries. Structural-grade foam and aerospace grade carbon fiber is infused using a vacuum process. Karura's advanced construction produces durable, lightweight cases available in black, white, or clear (see-through to the carbon fiber) gelcoat.

Every Karura flight case is hand-styled with a beautiful custom fit interior of raspberry red crushed velvet over a dense foam cushioning. In addition to absorbing shocks or drops, the interior also provides very effective insulation for the guitar against temperature extremes. The case's rubber gasket, hinges, and lockable catches combine to create a seal between the two halves of the guitar case.

Karura's Sentinel model case is 100% carbon fiber and weighs approximately 9.5 pounds. Karura's Guardian model is identical to the Sentinel in interior and exterior dimensions and finish except some of the carbon fiber content is replaced by basalt fiber. The primary difference is The Guardian weight slightly more at 11 lbs. Both models deliver unsurpassed luxury and protection.

The Sentinel and Guardian models are made to withstand over 1-ton of compression without material failure. Very low deflection under normal loads prevents damage to your fine guitars.
